Nissan To Build US-Based SUV

The Nissan SUV, Rogue, has been produced at a facility in Japan for years. For 2013, things are going to change. Nissan will produce its best-selling vehicle in the United States. This plan is part of an effort to localize upwards of 85% of its manufacturing in the regions where it sells vehicles by 2015.

Nissan Murano Cabrio Priced

The 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet debuted at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show. First we had specs, now we have a price: $47,190. That makes this luxury convertible crossover the priciest car now available from Nissan.

The Murano CrossCabriolet is based on the top-of-the-line Murano LE. It contains a 265-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 standard, as well as all-wheel-drive.

There is only one CrossCabriolet trim level, and comes fully loaded with that price approaching $50,000. HID headlights, a navigation system, Bose sound system, RearView Monitor, and leather seats (heated in front).

Nissan Teases New Versa

Nissan has released an unexpected teaser sketch of the next-generation Versa. The Versa has grown to be one of the more popular small cars from the Japanese auto maker since its introduction a few years ago. Available in both a sedan or hatchback versions, the car remains a favorite of young buyers.

Nissan said the next-generation Versa compact will be "sold in the Americas." Which was about the only statement they released along with its sketch.

Nissan Sentra Ready For Next Generation

The Japanese auto maker has been at the drawing board and is ready to show off a variety of refreshers and new models, including upgrades the the Sentra for next year.

There will be a redesigned version for all of the Versa subcompact 4and 5-door models, the Sentra compact sedan, and the Altima midsize coupe, plus there will be a new sedan in the next two years.
